She studied at the Academy of Arts in Copenhagen before taking up positions working in drawing studios in the city. She began by working as an architect before becoming a painter. She participated in a number of exhibitions, particularly in the 1970s and 80s which constitute her most prolific period of artistic output, including exhibitions showcasing
